Educational Endeavors

The Mary Alice Yakich Educational Foundation supports educational endeavors that enrich the academic and spiritual lives of students.

Projects have included supporting the Artist-In-Residence program at St. Roman Parish School in Milwaukee, WI.   All students participated in creating a beautiful tile mural in honor of the parish’s 50th anniversary celebration. It is a work of art that enhances the environment for all.

The Mary Alice Yakich Educational Foundation has also supported the arts with the installation of a new music classroom at St. Roman Parish School. In addition, in order to create a vibrant space for the performing arts at Pius XI Catholic High School, the Mary Alice Yakich Educational Foundation supported the building of a first class performing arts center, the Fr. Robert Carney Performing Arts Center.  

The arts play an important role in the development of the hearts, souls and minds of all students. The Mary Alice Yakich Foundation is proud to support these outstanding educational projects.
